This Thing Called Media - Mixed Media Atrwork by AJ Fortuna |
| I took apart a computer, clock radio, computer speakers, Sony CD player and attached them to a rustically painted piece of plywood. Using various cables and plastic mesh I was able to hook up components of this mixed media artwork to make it play a MP3 file and a Abstract video that I previously edited. The MP3 file playing on this thing is The day the Earth Stood Still by Orson Wells. |

| SHORT BIO: |
I’ve worked as a Multimedia developer / designer for 5 years where I edited and encoded 850 short videos for an educational web site, so I’m familiar with digital media file formats and experienced in encoding video / audio for DVD and Web (streaming video and streaming audio). I’m extremely passionate about video editing and film. My free time is spent working on multimedia projects including directing and editing short films. I’ve also worked on several weddings for friends and family where I filmed and edited the projects. In addition, I’ve Created 920 Flash animations and 780 interactive Flash animations for educational web sites and CD-ROMs. I’m energetic and I posses a positive attitude. Also, I’m easy going and I work well with others. When I’m assigned a project I focus all my attention to getting it done completely with attention to detail. Most importantly, I’m self-driven but I’m always welcome to taking direction from my supervisors. |
