Infrastructure monitoring for any environment
Nobody likes to hear about problems via the customer support team. With Blue Matador’s agent, you’ll be the first know if a running process dies or a server is unresponsive.
Blue Matador’s agent can monitor workloads like web servers, databases, message queues, caches and batch processing. Automatically gain insights into metrics like network traffic, disk usage, inodes, ulimits, swapping, and CPU steal time.
Our agent is written in Go and takes up less than 2% CPU. It is so lightweight, you might have trouble noticing it is even there.
I/O wait time – CPU idle time with an outstanding disk I/O operation requested
Time spent waiting for a real CPU while hypervisor services another virtual processor
Unhealthy level of system CPU (i.e. processes switched to kernel space)
Running out of disk inodes
Approaching disk space limitations
Prolonged or abnormally high normalized load
Unhealthy number of dropped packets
Network errors over a sustained period of time
Open Files Ulimit
Unable to open files or network sockets
Unable to spawn new sysV threads
Server runs out of RAM, the OS will use swap space as memory
Server Time Drift
Server’s time does not match an authoritative time
Heartbeat created between server and Blue Matador's agent
Unexpected changes in disk IOPS
Deviations in disk latency
Rates of bytes and packets on the network
